21 Weeks!

Wow I can't believe I am half way done with this pregnancy! It's gone by so fast, I just hope the next 19 weeks is as fast, I can't wait to hold my little girl!!

Happy Memorial Day

This is Daniel's sweet mom's grave, we went and visited her yesterday with most of Dan's family. I know Dan has a hard time going but you feel such a sweet spirit when you go to see her. I wish I was able to know her but I love hearing stories and memories of her. I am very grateful that Jeanne is taking care of our little Oakleigh until its time for her to come to our family here on earth. Even though I never met her I love her and am so grateful for such a wonderful mother in law.

Why I am excited for a girl!

These are a few items I am looking at to get for Oakleigh. I am so excited to buy tons of pink!! The bedding is my favorite and I can't decide on which one! I can't wait to set everything up for her!

It's a.....

GIRL!!!

Yep, if you haven't heard yet we went to our ultrasound this morning and we definitely are having a girl! We were both so excited! Daniel wanted a little girl so badly and I just expected it to be a boy because thats what all my sister had first. I guess I was wrong! We love Oakleigh so much already and she is a wiggly little thing! Can't wait to meet her in October.

Our newest purchase...

For the last three years we have been really lucky to not have to buy our own washer/dryer, but the time had come that we needed our own. So this weekend we took advantage of the sale at rc willey and bought our very own washer and dryer. I feel so grown up! I feel very lucky that we were able to get a nice set and that they were front loaders!! yay! A big thank you to Katie and Tim for letting us use theirs for the last year, it was so nice to have them! I can't wait to do my first load of laundry when we pick them up tomorrow! I never thought it would be so exciting to do laundry! :)

5 years ago today...

I had to say goodbye to Daniel, he was getting set apart for his mission. That was the worst day of my life!! It felt like he had died! I will never forget that day. I remember Daniel called me about 5 times after we said goodbye. (I didn't want to be there for his setting apart) I am so glad I waited for this boy, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me!! I am so proud of him for serving a full time mission!! I love you Daniel!!

Slacker!!

Wow, I have been a blog slacker! Everything is going good for us, just the same old stuff. We did set our date to find out the sex of our baby, which is May 20th! yay We are very excited to find out what this baby is! Daniel is still in training for his job and should be on his own in about a month! I am so proud of him he is doing such a great job. I'm still working and going to school and can't wait to take my break from school!! Only 4 more months! That's all that we are really up to right now!!
