Pillow talk...

Here is my latest project! Since we aren't going to get a new bedroom set anymore, I decided I wanted to make the bedding exactly how I wanted! We did end up buying a new mattress that came with a down comforter! So I decided to make new pillows for the bed! I still have two more to make and I think that it will be perfect. I just need to find a blanket to go at the end of the bed. Man I love making things!! It's very addicting!

Love her!!

I am working today and I just miss her so much!! I can't wait to go home and snuggle with her!! Love you baby girl!

I Loving Memory...

12 years ago on Feb. 17th my sweet husband lost his mother to cancer, I know he doesn't like to talk about it but I thought with the anniversary of her passing I would put some pictures of her up. I love hearing his family talk about her and remembering the fun times they had with her. I can't wait for the day I get to finally meet my mother in law! I can't thank her enough for my husband and for the wonderful way she raised him. I know she is here with us in spirit and that Oakleigh knows who she is and loves her.

A few things I've made...

A wipe case!
A pillow made out of place mats! And the flower is made out of felt! So easy and fun!

Tryin to make bows for Oakleigh...

A board I made for Oakleigh's room.
I have been loving making things lately! It's so much cheaper and way fun! My next project is making pillows for our bed!

Cute cousins!

Look how many cute cousing little Oakleigh has!! I love that there are so many of them, she will always have someone to play with!

Oakleigh eating cereal!

I forgot to post this picture of Oakleigh eating cereal and fruit for the first time! I can't believe she is big enough to eat with a spoon! We try to eat with a spoon once a day for now, but she would rahter eat it from a bottle. We're working on it! Don't mind the boy bib, that's all my mom has at her house, what can you expect with 6 little grandboys!

Mod Podge Rocks!!

I made this bow holder for Oakleigh over the weekend. It was so much fun! I've been trying to be more crafty and make things myself. I found this idea on a blog and it was so easy to make! I've made a lot of fun little things with mod podge that I will have to get pictures of. I didn't know what I was missing out on! Mod podge is awesome!
