Wow, looks whose 6 months already!!

Oakleigh turned 6 months old a couple of days ago! I can't believe she is this big already!! We had to cancel her 6 month wellness checkup due to her ear infection so I don't have her stats yet. I do know she weighs 15.7 lbs just from when we had to go to wee care the other night. Oakleigh is rolling from her back to her belly and sometimes she will go from belly to back. She is putting everything in her mouth! She is able to scoot around the floor and get where she wants to get to. She now says "da da" and Daniel eats it up. She is a very active little girl and is always so happy! I love her smile and her laugh it makes me so happy to watch her grow and develop! She also love to play with her toys now and can even sit up for a little bit befoer tumbling over! I feel so blessed to be her mom and to watch her grow. I love being a mommy! I always tell Daniel I don't know what I did before we had her!

Sick baby...

My poor little girl is sick. She's had a cough and runny nose for a week now but on Monday night she felt so warm I checked her temp and it was 102.7. I immediately called wee care and we got her in an hour later. It's another ear infection! This poor kiddo, she is miserable. She can't breathe and the last few nights wakes up every hour from coughing or she can't breathe and I think those poor ears hurt! Oakleigh is never much of a crier but this week she is very ornery and cries so much. I hate seeing her so miserable, I miss my happy baby girl! I can't wait for the antibiotics to kick in so she can start feeling better!

Birthday times 3!

Happy Birthday Chris, Daniel and Amy Jo! (March 25th) I'm so glad these 3 people were born 25 years ago!! I love these 3 so much especially that cute one in the middle! I'll have to post pictures of the actual birthday after tomorrow!

My baby is getting too big!!

I can't believe how much Oakleigh has grown up in the last month!! I swear all of the sudden she just keeps doing more and more things!!


She's eating solid foods now, here she is eating green beans, yes it got everywhere!!
She loves to smile and it just melts my heart whenever she does!
On this day she decided she was big enough to feed herself!
She is now rolling over, scooting anyway she can! She definitley knows how to get around a room! I think she will be crawling within the next month, she really does try!
I love this little girl and it is so fun to watch her learn and develop new things.

5 months!

Our sweet little Oakleigh turned 5 months old this week! I can't believe how fast the time is going. She is such a blessing in our family. We love her more than we could have ever imagined. She is eating solid foods and loves her sweet potatoes and bananas! She is so close to rolling over, I'm sure it will be any day now. She has definitely discovered her voice!! She is a jabber mouth and has a very high pitched scream she does when she is hungry. She is laughing all the time now and gives you smiles that just melt your heart! We love you baby Oakleigh!!
